STEP Project department was called in to survey, and prepare new class-approved drawings. The suspended staging was erected so that repair could carry on.
Situation:
Head on Collision, Damaged area Forecastle Peak and all surrounding areas and internals, furthermore vessel was loaded with cargo for Transportation to South America, that was urgently required. This was even more difficult as Dry dock was not available during the Christmas period.
Challenges:
- To fabricate and repair within charter delivery timeframe.
- No drawings available.
- Area of repair with difficult access.
